Aspiring Digital Marketer

Hi! I'm James Chaustre, and I have two passions: marketing and pushing my limits. Fortunately, I’ve spent the last few years doing both — constantly learning, growing, and embracing new challenges. From building integrated marketing campaigns to leading fan engagement initiatives, my journey has been shaped by hands-on experiences across multiple areas of digital marketing.

Whether it was creating a strategic IMC campaign for White Oak Lavender Farm, strengthening donor relations and event promotions with the JMU Duke Club, or competing in a national advertising competition for AT&T through James Madison University, I’ve had the chance to put creativity, strategy, and data-driven thinking into action.

At my core, I’m a digital marketer second and a lifelong learner first. I believe that real growth happens when you step outside your comfort zone and that's exactly where I like to be.

IMC! Marketing communications

For a school project, I worked on an Integrated Marketing Communications campaign for our client, White Oak Lavender Farm. This experience pushed me out of my comfort zone and challenged me to tap into my creative side, something I didn’t think I had. It was an eye-opening journey that helped me grow both strategically and creatively.

JMU DUke Club

This role was my first hands-on experience in marketing, solidifying my passion for the field. Through email campaigns, fan engagement, and donor relations with the JMU Duke Club, I gained valuable insights into athletic marketing and event promotion, laying the foundation for my future in the industry.

Scratch Pad

I'm currently competing in an advertising competition through James Madison University, where we are going head-to-head against other top universities across our district! This year's client is AT&T, and our team has been tasked with developing a full-scale marketing campaign to meet their real-world business objectives. It's been an incredible opportunity to sharpen my strategic thinking, creativity, and collaboration skills while working on a project for a major global brand.
